What is counselling?
For many people life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Counselling provides the necessary support to address troubling issues and help you take control of your life. My role is to help you through the often difficult process of exploring and talking about feelings or situations that are causing distress.
After an initial consultation in , there is no obligation to proceed if you do not wish to. We can use the safe space to explore the current or unresolved past concerns for which you are considering Counselling. I will discuss confidentiality with you and address any questions you may have. What to Expect during Counselling. You can see how you feel working with me. You and I will then be able to establish if my Counselling practice is right for you.
Every client’s needs are unique and the sessions I offer are tailored to each individual. Usually sessions will last for a 50 minute period, usually taking place once a week; however the length of the commitment to counselling is determined by you and me, on an on-going basis.
